The top three partnerships put on about 50 each to the side to 147 for 3 in the 28th over. Dean Elgar, who finished with 84 not out, then saw the chase through with Boeta Dippenaar. The pair put on the biggest partnership of the match, 86, as Knights got home in 49 overs.The tournament is nearing the halfway stage, and the Cobras and Knights are at Nos. 1 and 2 respectively on the points table. The new format allows the team that tops the group stage to automatically qualify for the final, while Nos. 2 & 3 will play-off for the other final spot. Cobras and Knights play each other on Wednesday, in what could be crucial game.

وقال أبوزيد في تصريحات لبرنامج “بوكس تو بوكس”: “كل التوفيق للأهلي في كاس العالم للأندية، المونديال بطولة استعراضية، ولا يجب أن يتحمل اللاعبين الضغوط بسببها، فالغرض من البطولة تكريم الفرق التي توجت بألقاب قارية، لذلك يجب أن يقدم لاعبو الفريق كرة جيدة تليق بتاريخ وعراقة الأهلي، وأن يشرفوا القارة الافريقية في المونديال”.

وزاد: “لسنا ذاهبين للتتويج بكأس العالم للأندية، ولكن يجب أن نقدم كرة قدم جيدة، الأهلي يفتقد لجماعية الأداء، ولا نريد تحميل اللاعبين أعباء كبيرة، كأس العالم للأندية بطولة تكريم المتفوقين، هناك فرق كبيرة تذهب لخوض النهائي فقط، ولذلك يجب أن يعلم أنها بطولة استعراضية”.

وواصل: “الخط الأمامي قادر على قيادة الفريق لتحقيق نتائج جيدة، وبعودة محمد شريف لمستواه فإن الأهلي ليس في حاجة لضم مهاجم، ومحمود كهربا لاعب كبير يعيبه عدم ثبات المستوى وأتمنى أن يستمر مستواه بهذا الشكل وكلنا ثقة في اللاعبين، إذا تمكنوا من الحفاظ على المركز الثالث أمر جيد ولو تعثروا فلن نحملهم كثيرًا”.

وأكمل: “إذا وصل الأهلي لنهائي البطولة سيكون بمثابة تحقيق اللقب، لا يجب أن نضغط على اللاعبين لتقديم مستوى جيد، النادي الأهلي حاليًا يمتلك عناصرًا مميزة في الخط الأمامي وحراسة المرمى والوسط والدفاع، وهناك لاعبين استعادوا مستواهم مثل محمد شريف ومحمد الشناوي ومحمد عبدالمنعم وربيعة والسولية وعبدالقادر وأفشة”.

وعن رأيه في مشاكل التحكيم المصري صرح: “الإعلام المصري هو أكثر من قام بإيذاء منظومة التحكيم المصري، الحكام كلهم أولادنا والحكم ينتمي لنفسه أولًا، لأنه يريد الحصول على احترام وثقة الجميع والمشاركة في بطولات كبرى، وهو دائمًا تحت المنظار والجماهير تحاسبه”.

وأردف: “لا يجب أن يتحمل الحكم أخطاء مدربي الأهلي أو الزمالك، حكامنا بخير وينقصهم الحماية، وشاهدت مواقف عديدة للحكام وهم يأخذون قرارات جريئة، ومع ذلك يتم الهجوم عليهم، واتحاد الكرة بعدها يقوم بإبعادهم، هناك حكام أقوياء الشخصية اختفوا في ظروف غامضة”.

وأتم تصريحاته: “فقرة تحليل الحكام ليست سببًا في أي أزمات وأخطاء الحكام طبيعية وليست جريمة، لكن الجريمة هي منعهم من إدارة المباريات بسبب خطأ أو عدم احتساب ركلة جزاء، الأخطاء في النهاية بشرية”.

Rogers was to go past 50 off 82 balls with a four through mid-wicket off Lee Daggett and Roland-Jones was to make his highest score for Middlesex.He went past his previous best total of 26, but he was to perish on 28 when he dragged Middlebrook’s first delivery, in the 64th over, onto his stumps. Rayner then smashed an explosive half-century off just 43 balls but Middlebrookhad his 10th first-class five-wicket haul when he was caught behind by Murphy just before the visitors declared.A rain delay meant the loss of three overs but Rob Newton and Stephen Peters survived until the close and will resume tomorrow on 14 and six respectively.

الصحيفة البريطانية، في يناير من كل عام، تنشر قائمة أفضل 100 لاعب في العام الذي يسبقه، وهو ما يحدث بناء على تصويت 206 صحفيين رياضيين بريطانيين.

وجاء ليونيل ميسي نجم المنتخب الأرجنتيني وباريس سان جيرمان على رأس القائمة، كأفضل لاعب في العالم، بعد أن فاز ببطولة كأس العالم قطر 2022، وخلفه زميله في باريس سان جيرمان، الفرنسي كيليان مبابي ثم قائد ريال مدريد، كريم بنزيما.

إيرلينج هالاند جاء في المركز الرابع، بعدما تألق النرويجي في مانشستر سيتي منذ بداية الموسم، وتلاه الكرواتي لوكا مودريتش لاعب ريال مدريد الإسباني.

المركز السادس كان كيفين دي بروين نجم مانشستر سيتي، ثم روبرت ليفاندوفسكي مهاجم برشلونة، وقبل صلاح، حل كل من البرازيلي فينيسيوس والبلجيكي كورتوا نجمي ريال مدريد، ليأتي الملك المصري في المركز العاشر.

وكان محمد صلاح في العام الماضي، قد احتل المركز الثالث في تلك القائمة، خلف روبرت ليفاندوفسكي وليونيل ميسي، مما يعني أنه تراجع 7 مراكز.

النجم المصري في 2022، فشل في الفوز ببطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا، وكذلك التأهل إلى مونديال قطر 2022، مع خسارته لقب الدوري الإنجليزي مع ليفربول ودوري أبطال أوروبا.

أسطورة ليفربول، على رأس اللاعبين العرب في القائمة وكذلك الأفارقة، ورغم تألق المنتخب المغربي، لكن أشرف حكيمي جاء في المركز السادس عشر، وياسين بونو في المركز الـ43 وسفيان أمرابط في المركز الـ49، وحكيم زياش 63، وعز الدين أوناحي في المركز الـ79.

كما تواجد رياض محرز أيضًا في المركز الـ57، بعدما فشل مع المنتخب الجزائري في أمم إفريقيا بالكاميرون، وكذلك عدم التأهل إلى مونديال قطر.

بينما جاء ساديو ماني في المركز الـ11 خلف محمد صلاح مباشرة، وخاليدو كوليبالي في المركز الـ80.

وفي ظل تراجع مستواه وإخفاقاته الأخيرة، جاء كريستيانو رونالدو في المركز الـ51، وهو مركز صادم بالنسبة للبرتغالي، الذي فشل مع منتخب بلاده في كأس العالم وسجل هدفًا في 4 مباريات قبل الخروج من دور الثمانية.

وعلى مستوى الأندية، لم يحقق كريستيانو رونالدو أي بطولة مع مانشستر يونايتد، قبل أن يجلس على مقاعد البدلاء في الجزء الأول من الموسم قبل أن يتم فسخ عقده نوفمبر الماضي، ويتجه إلى النصر السعودي.

Shaun Marsh justified Australia’s decision to keep him at No.3 by making a wonderful 81, but Sri Lanka finished the first day with a slight edge in a match they must win to draw the series. A day that began with changes galore for both sides and an unexpected decision from Tillakaratne Dilshan to send Australia in on a good batting surface finished with the visitors at 235 for 5, with Michael Hussey the key.The Sri Lankans would have liked more than five wickets after Dilshan’s decision at the toss, when he expected seam movement after rain in the lead-up to the match, but they were still in a reasonable position with only Australia’s bowlers still to bat. Hussey, demoted to No.6 to accommodate Marsh and Ricky Ponting up the order, was on 63 when bad light forced an early close and he had Brad Haddin for company on 21.It was one of the most evenly-contested days of the series. The Sri Lankans picked up Australia’s openers within the first ten overs, the seamer Shaminda Eranga getting a wicket with his first ball in Test cricket, before Ponting, Marsh and Hussey provided some fight for Australia. The major concern for Australia was the continued poor form of the captain Michael Clarke and the opener Phillip Hughes, who made a second-ball duck.But the 70-run partnership between Marsh and Hussey, the centurions from last week’s Pallekele Test, steered Australia in the right direction, both men showing the sort of composure some of their colleagues had lacked. Hussey continued to look impenetrable, covering the spin against Rangana Herath and driving the fast men along the ground, and he passed fifty for the eighth time in his past 13 Test innings.Marsh was especially was impressive in his attitude, defending the good balls, leaving those he could, and choosing the right ones to put away. He brought up his half-century from his 125th delivery with a pull for four off Suranga Lakmal, and it was typical of his innings: a bad ball, and no risk in the stroke.He played some wonderful straight drives and square cuts, and in doing so recorded the highest aggregate ever by an Australia Test player in his first two Test innings, passing the 208 made by Kepler Wessels back in 1982. Marsh looked set to become the first Australian to make a century in each of his first two Test innings when he played inside the spin of Herath and was bowled.It was an uncharacteristic lapse, but on a humid day when he’d been at the crease for four and a half hours, it was understandable. There could be no such excuse for Clarke, who on 6 flashed at a wide ball – not for the first time in this series – and was caught behind off Eranga. Clarke had moved down to No.5 in the top-order shimmy that allowed Marsh to stay at first drop.Ponting came in at No.4 for the first time in his Test career, apart from when nightwatchmen had been used, and he looked in fine form with a pair of cover-driven boundaries off Chanaka Welegedara. However, on 48, he too lost patience and drove at a fullish outswinger from Lakmal, sending a regulation edge through to Prasanna Jayawardene.Sri Lanka had used up both of their reviews on Ponting, but they had no such trouble getting rid of Hughes and Shane Watson. Hughes fell in the second over when Lakmal angled the ball across the left-hander and straightened it just a fraction off the seam. The ball caught the inside edge of the bat as Hughes defended away from his body, and the stumps were rattled by a ball he could have left alone.It was a disappointing effort from Hughes, who is viewed by the selectors as the long-term opening partner for Shane Watson but has not reached fifty in any of his past ten Test innings. Watson is also experiencing an uncharacteristic lean patch, and that continued when on 8, he drove hard at a full and wide delivery from Eranga and was snapped up at backward point.It was a joyous moment for Eranga, who became the second Sri Lankan to take a wicket with his first ball in Test cricket, after Chamila Gamage in 2002, and the second man to achieve the feat in this series after Australia’s Nathan Lyon. The inclusion of Eranga was one of a raft of changes to Sri Lanka’s line-up for this Test.Herath was included after missing the Pallekele Test due to a finger injury, and the Sri Lankans went for a more seam-heavy attack by dropping the spinners Suraj Randiv and Seekkuge Prasanna. They also axed the veteran batsman Thilan Samaraweera and brought in Lahiru Thirimanne, who will open, while Dilshan will move down to No.5.Dilshan was full of surprises at the toss. It was the 12th occasion a captain had sent the opposition in at the SSC, but only twice has that decision led to a victory: both times against Bangladesh. Whether that becomes three times from 12 occasions will depend partly on how long it takes Sri Lanka to finish Australia off on the second day.

Já o volante Alison apresentou boa melhora na entorse sofrida no joelho direito, caminha normalmente e também está em fase de fortalecimento muscular. O camisa 5 não tem prazo para retornar aos gramados.

O zagueiro Lucas Veríssimo também acabou preservado da atividade, com dores na coxa direita, mas não preocupa e a tendência é que seja titular.

نجح منتخب الكويت في تحقيق فوز قاتل على نظيره الإمارات، في المباراة التي جمعتهما اليوم الثلاثاء، في إطار مواجهات بطولة كأس الخليج في نسخته الخامسة والعشرين.

وأقيمت مباراة المنتخبين على أرضية ملعب “الميناء” بمدينة البصرة العراقية، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات.

ويقع منتخبا الإمارات والكويت في المجموعة الثانية برفقة كل من البحرين وقطر.

وشهدت المباراة ضغطا قويا من منتخب الإمارات خاصة في الشوط الثاني، ولكن فشل في هز شباك الكويت الذي اكتفى بالدفاع، عكس الشوط الأول.

وعلى عكس مسار المباراة، سجل منتخب الكويت هدفا قاتلا في الدقيقة 93 من زمن الشوط الثاني، عن طريق كرة ثابتة بقدم أحمد الضفيري.

وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنه في الجولة الأولى خسر منتخب الإمارات من نظيره البحرين بهدفين لهدف، وألحق العنابي الهزيمة بالمنتخب الكويتي بهدفين نظيفين.

وواصل: “الحقيقة أننا خسرنا، صحيح أن الفريق استحق الحصول على نتيجة أخرى ولكن لم يتحقق ذلك لأن القوة لم تظهر في المواقف الحاسمة”.

واستكمل: “لقد فعلنا أشياء جيدة أكثر من سيئة، بعد أول 20 دقيقة سيئة تنافس الفريق كما أردت، لكن ذلك لم يغير النتيجة”.
